Setting to disable/enable email notifications – Avoid SPAM

Hi there!

I want to talk about the current email notification system. An user receive auto notifications about new bids, canceled bids, accepted projects, reviews… Too much notifications that can mean a lot of emails that bother the user. AS he has not choose in any place to receive all these emails (he only can choose enable/disable category emails), he maybe would mark the emails as SPAM to not receive more, and with the time, if more users do this, the future outgoing emails would be clasified automaticaly as SPAM.

We need to add a link in each template email to disable notifications. The ideal system would be that each type of email notification could be enabled or disabled. For example, if the user receive an email about a new bid for his project and he clicks in “not receive more emails like this”, then he only would stop receiving emails about new bids but continue to receive other email notifications.

Also, a setting panel in the dashboard where the user can re-enable again the previously disabled email notifications or disable them.

I think this is very important to implement asap, because if not, the email would be considered as SPAM in the long time and that it’s very hard to fix…
