Hi

Bellow I have listed several features for your consideration. Besides the ones you have listed for the upcoming versions (roadmap), I think the ones bellow are truly essential for a solid marketplace.

Profile Page:

The ability for members to add a Portfolio. In profile edit, user has an option to add a portfolio that shows in a profile page, perhaps in a new tab.

Add all seller Reviews – List all reviews the user has received, perhaps in a new tab.

Add number of total Reviews. – Number of total reviews the user has received from all jobs.

If Member is Online or Last seen online

Add number of jobs worked. – Total jobs the user has sold.

Add list of skills.

Add response time. – How fast a seller responds to a buyer after job purchase.

Job Page:

Add response time. – How fast a seller responds to a buyer after job purchase.

Add number of views to job page.

Add Edit button to profile in sidebar. –  so the user can edit their profile directly from the job page.

Add new section “What seller needs to start the work” – this can show below job description telling a buyer what the seller needs to start the work.

Additionally…

Change the workflow as seen  in this Post.

Add the ability for seller to reply to buyer review.

Allow seller to set price for job.

Payment and Billing info must be removed or made private in user profile.

Seller Level – A badge shows next to seller’s name showing their level. Example:

LEVEL 1 (Rookie) – Seller completed $50 worth of sales within the past 30 days, and kept customers happy with a reputation of over 90%.

LEVEL 2 (Master) – Seller completed $200 worth of sales after 2 months, and kept customers happy with a reputation of over 95% or higher.

LEVEL 3 (Expert) –  Seller worked hard and earned the highest status. He’s in a Elite status, having sold $500 and keeping customers happy with a reputation of 100%.

Please vote on this guys.  Lets have the team make MicroEngine a super kick-awesome theme with all these features.

Thank you so much!

Hi Miguel,

There are some features already in our plan at the first time. During the time we’ll update our roadmap in order to make a good move with the customers’ ideas. Thank you.

Best,

I support all of Miguel’s ideas as well. With that said, I want to add that the Seller Level is a basic function that has to be in the theme. I was comparing this with fiverr and other clone scripts and saw that while microjobengine on the surface looks just like fiverr, microjobengine’s features is lacking in many areas. In terms of User Interface, it’s not very intuitive, unlike fiverr.com .

Please consider making the theme even better and please update us on when the updates would kick in. It wouldn’t make sense if you expect us to wait more than a year for updates and extensions to come along.

Thanks and I hope to hear from you soon.

Hi Shawn,

We’re not trying to design the whole thing up like Fiverr.com (at the first time). The reason is simple: We need your ideas in order to make the theme more evolution than revolution.

I agree with you and Miguel that these suggestions actually make sense. Within the scope and limitation of the theme (WordPress platform), our critical mission is finding the balance between: platform, features, business goals, and the marketing strategy of the customer himself.

Keep posted.

Hi guys,

I would like a few more feature requests if I may…

Profile Page:

Add verification Icon – When the user verifies their email address, a verification icon shows next to their name.

Overall rating. – A percentage of total ratings, i.e. “Rated: 96 % Positive”

Job Page:

Add number of jobs in Queue. – How many jobs seller is currently working on.

Overall rating. – A percentage of total ratings, i.e. “Rated: 96 % Positive”

Additionally…

In Signup Page, here should be an option to Register as Seller or Register as Buyer, or both.

In Buyer’s Dashboard, sellers functions/features should be removed such as Revenue, My jobs, etc.

Thank you!

I support all of miguel’s Suggestion from the first comment to the second. Some features that was displayed in the psd file sold on themeforest did not show in the theme when it was released. Please make haste with the update and extension.

I agree with all of the above ideas too. To me at the moment, although the theme looks great, it is lacking in functionality. Nobody is saying it should be a “Fiverr clone”, but for me, the lack of functionality makes it questionable whether to actually try and use this theme for a viable business at the moment! I look forward to updates.
